Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She was secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant director of communications (2009–2011) and the spokesperson of the United States Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career with the 2001 re-election campaigns in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack Both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki then was appointed the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006. Psaki returned in 2012 to the field of political communications serving as the press secretary of President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign. [20] On February 11 13th, 2013, Psaki became the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] There was speculation that she would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in 2015 , and was there until the end.
