Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18th, 1967) is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just some of her movie roles. On television, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998), with additional starring roles, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013, as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016, and from 2017 until 2021 as Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane in the series NCIS. Bello was born on April 18, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. [7][8] She majored in political science at Villanova University. Bello continued to train in acting by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello together with Dan McDermott is the proud mother of Jackson. In November 2013 she wrote about her having a relationship that was sex with her former partner, Clare Munn. She published a book called Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we assign to Ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28, 2015).
